Label Layout fields

As part of last week’s update to Shopify AppBridge, we’ve updated the naming conventions of Customer/Shipping information on the Label Layout Settings page. (For example, instead of current_total_price, we are now using the totalPriceSet object). For our users, we’ve switched the fields to use a friendly name (ie. Total). This will make it more intuitive to pick and choose which fields to print in your labels.

However, because of the switch in naming conventions, some users may experience some inconsistencies in the user experience. (ie. the Order Number field may not be checked off in the fields list on the left, but it is visible in the panel on the right). This will not affect the overall functioning of the app, but it can be easily fixed by removing the old field on the right (click the field name, then click X), then re-adding the new field by selecting it from the list on the left.

As always, please reach out if you encounter any issues!

We’ve update our codebase to the latest version of Shopify AppBridgeReact in order to comply with best practices. LabelBot users shouldn’t notice anything different about the app. This will facilitate easier updates in the future though. As always, reach out if you have any issues!

Version 2.0.0 launch!

We’ve completely re-written our Labelbot app to use Shopify’s new App Bridge framework! This will allow us to rollout more frequent updates and hopefully add new features on a more regular basis. For the most part, the app should work exactly the same as before, but let us know if you encounter any issues.
